Guidance for September - 9
There is a lot!
Arriving in the month of September we realize both the abundance that is always there and the finite nature of the cycle of life, a kind of end that becomes tangible.
The leaves begin to fall to the ground. Without and within, the richness of the harvest of nature, as well as what we humans have been planting in our lives can be nourishing or overwhelming. A lot seems out of our control. In the first half of the year we are moving with intention and seeding what we wish to happen. Now being in control of any outcome often seems to slip away from us.
Life lives, shapes and teaches us. This month, mystery or mastery reveals to us. Mastery can be reached when we give up the illusion of control to allow the true lessons of life to mature in an inner alchemical process. Control starts in the mind. Mastery is letting go while remaining focused: a state in which we have learned to keep balance and to open to the higher planes, to be receptive to the divine that is then flowing through.
Do you know these moments where inspiration flows through you unfiltered? Where there is no resistance in your way because you allowed yourselves to fully surrender?
This is a state of peace.
Allow yourself to be inspired at this time of the year and trust the way. You are held, guided and the mind does not need to control or sense this path.
Often our shadows of shame, guilt and regret get in the way of this process. Somehow sometimes we can't truly allow ourselves to let go and receive. Do you catch yourself there sometimes? Create more space then in your inner world to receive this greatness, this blessing. Allow yourself… to fully receive yourself. What is the higher call of spirit? What are the messages that you are receiving on your path? These messages are subtle. Only when we become still, we are able to tune into the frequency of the soul and to listen to them.
It might be that our feelings plus the amount of new possibilities flood us and make us feel we could go crazy. Or that we finally easily fall into peace after a busy summer. There is so much and yet there is only one way, one truth, one path. Where does it lead us? To receive the answer takes us into a subtle process of refinement.
If we are too much in the frenzy of doing, we are not receptive to the subtle blessings and messages that are now meant for us. If we tune into them, we can find silence in the abundance that surrounds us. And not all possibilities are meant for us! When we sense what the higher call really is, we can relax and go our way step by step. At the end of a long journey, not the place, the destination we reached matters, but what we became on the way.
The nine months teaches us patience towards ourselves and our path. It leads us to our perseverance to live our truth within us. In any case the path also goes through unpleasant and sometimes oppressive phases. They are worth it, because they form our value and the crystal we carry in our heart, where gently yet firmly our spirit can land when we finally come home.
The ninth step in the Mool Mantra is "Ajooni", that means “no yoni”, “unborn”. It describes our subtle body, the ninth spiritual body that is home to our soul, which is unborn. Ajooni is the ground of our soul. It is the state of a deeper peace and tranquility within all the waves of Being and passing away. So this month, let us harvest peace in our open hearts.
Suggestion for the month:
Moment of harvest
Reflect on what has manifested for you this year? What intentions, what seeds did you set at the beginning of the year and what has unfolded? Create space within yourself to gain greater wisdom and insight for what has come true and what the lesson is for you.
Take time to be with the first leaves falling to the ground. Tune into the energy of letting go and breathing out... Deeply, patiently and abundantly.
The Kundalini Yoga Kriya to clarify the subtle body is a beautiful meditation to practice this month.
