Guidance for October - 10
In October the leaves are falling. What has built up over the year falls to the ground without mercy.
What remains? All or nothing. This is the theme of the tenth month of the year.
For the harvest of the past month, have we gathered all that we can be grateful for and that is true to our essence?
There is something magical and mysterious in the atmosphere of the October light. It seems to give us a small glimpse of the infinite glow that lies behind time and space, behind all polarity, also a light of hope when dark times seem to come over.
In this month, which consists of 1 and 0, it is even more about the essence, that what doesn’t change, the unity within us, which we are challenged to find again and again, especially when the outer world is not united. If we lose this, we fall deeply. Let fall what no longer corresponds to you, but do not let yourself fall. We take a step further into the dying process of the wheel of the year and in this month we celebrate the festival of the dead, Samhain, that most of us know nowadays as Halloween. It is a time to honor the dying and remember our ancestors that paved the way.
This festival is also the New Year's celebration of the witches and druids, in that it is precisely in this passage into darkness that we remember the eternal light within us and give birth to it, even in the darkest moment in which we have to face inner and outer wars. This light manifests in us as our radiant body (the 10th spiritual body in the tradition of Kundalini Yoga), which shines out of itself, independently from external circumstances. How can we imagine this? Like a leap through 0, through nothingness to an immortal, independent ray. The alternative is only the eclipse, which represents the absence of light. What do we choose to find in darkness? Nothing or everything? The black hole or the fertile soil that awakens the light at the end of the tunnel?
What does it take to face this moment, this leap? It is courage. It is the courage to meet, to face and to feel everything that life presents us, even what seems unbearable to accept. Alive and in wholeness, with all senses, vibrating and present, anchored in unconditional faith. It needs this kind of activation in order not to disappear due to overwhelm. "Everything is" is the motto. "Everything is" also means that everything that has been, is no more and that what is now won’t be no more in the future. A realization that is often very difficult to agree with for the human being. The way to reach this state comes with the ability to listen. To feel and to sense into the stillness while meditating on Oneness. In this acceptance however we find our essence, that which remains in us and from where we can adapt and act according to the times.
Suggestion for the month
~ Meditate on the wholeness of all cycles.
~ Meditate on the falling leaves of autumn and on letting go.
~ Begin to anchor silence and to consciously take time in the evenings, in darkness, to sit with a candle and light your heart's light. Take time to pray for peace and to be grateful for all that is being given to you.
