Guidance for August - 8
The eighth month flows along and takes us on a flight of nature. The abundance wave of the month of August is so high that we often do not even notice that we are riding it.
In the northern hemisphere of prosperous Mother Earth nature invites us to join her abundance, to be served and nurtured. It is the time when sweet fruits like plums and pears become ripe. Even if the harvest festival is celebrated only in September it is a time in which we may become aware of the richness we are surrounded with. The endless stream that carries us along - be it through events, work, information - seems not to end. And so the motto of the month is: "Slow down." "Take your time." "Be aware of where you lose yourself and where you burn out."
The eight month invites the healing quality of water. While in the second month we referred more to our longing for life in connection with the water element, now life is in full swing and we can uplift it and heal.
Take time out and feel yourself in this moment in your plenitude of possibilities: possibilities to consciously invite changes that are healing. Invite compassion for yourself and your path. It is an illusion to have compassion for anyone around you if you have not established compassion for yourself. Consciously dive deeper into your power. Superficially we can keep many things alive. If we consciously dive deeper, things might change, but the possibility blossoms to come into a deeper truth and connection with our power, flowing from the depth of our being.
Do you know the effortlessness in your doing when you are in deep connection? When you are in your flow and have the feeling to have infinite power and to be able to give without measure?
This state is your wholesome being and it is not static. There is a kind of inherent need for things to constantly change so that we stay in flow.
Meditate for a moment on your bubbly vital life force.
How connected are you to it? How alive do you feel?
Take conscious time today and the days to come to rest and see what impulses arise from it.
Healing is balance.
Healing is keeping things in balance and also letting them go.
Death is natural and when we are in a state of flow and rise above the heaviness of letting go, we remember our primal state: A state of surrendering fearlessly to the flow of life and passing.
Suggestion of the month
Eight-part breath for stress management and increased energy:
Sit in an upright posture. Hands are loosely in Gyan Mudra (thumb and forefinger touching) on your knees. Inhale in eight parts and inhale in eight parts.
Meditate on your life force, on your prana, flowing to you through your breath.
Allow flow to happen.
